Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information PropertySeeker Myanmar (PSM Properties) collects when you use this app, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and phone number. When you send an inquiry, we share your name and contact details with our agents so they can respond to you.
Information stored on your device
Your login session is stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). Your recently viewed properties, your language choice, and a saved copy of screens you have already opened — which can include your profile and inquiry details — are kept in the app's ordinary storage so the app still works without a connection. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the app removes it.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the app: managing your account, showing your saved properties, and responding to your inquiries. We also record which screens you open so we can understand how the app is used and improve it. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
The app uses Google Maps to display property locations and nearby places, and Google Firebase for push notifications, usage analytics, and crash reporting. These services receive limited technical information such as your device model, operating system, app version, and an identifier for your device or account — described in the sections below. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics receives a diagnostic report containing your device model, operating system version, and the technical details of the fault, linked to your account ID but not to your name, email, or phone number. App updates are delivered through Expo, which receives your device and app version when the app checks for an update. We do not sell your personal information to any of them.
Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to record which screens you open and how you move through the app, so we can see which features matter and where problems happen. When you are signed in, these events are linked to your account ID — not to your name, email, or phone number. Firebase also automatically collects your device model, operating system version, and approximate region. We do not use this information for advertising.
Push notifications
With your permission, we send notifications about new listings, inquiry replies, and updates. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), which creates a device token to deliver them. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Delete Account; this permanently removes your account and everything linked to it, including your inquiries and saved properties, and cannot be undone. You can also ask us to delete it through the Contact Us page in this app, or by writing to the address on propertyseekermm.com; we will process such a request within 30 days. Information stored only on your device is removed when you delete your account or uninstall the app.
Where your information is processed
Our servers, and the Google and Expo services described above, may store and process your information on computers located outside Myanmar, including in the United States. By using the app you agree to your information being transferred to and processed in those locations under this policy.
Children
This app is intended for adults searching for property. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings. To make any of these requests, use the Contact Us page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always available on this page.
